Occupation: Entrepreneur:

I am running for the city council because my professional experience would add value and balance to the panel.

I have over 30 years of experience in the real estate and mortgage industry. In a challenging economy, business owners must deal with challenging operational and staffing decisions within a budget. This experience will help me make critical decisions and votes as I stand for our city.

I studied network technology and accounting principles in college and worked in the accounting field before becoming an entrepreneur. As a lifelong learner, I have a wide range of interests, including history, economics, technology, and elder care.  

I currently serve as a Commissioner on the Shasta County Aging Commission, appointed by Shasta Lake, and an active volunteer within our community.

Housing, wildfire protection, and water allocation are challenges facing our city. Additionally, our city can do more to attract tourism and capture city tax revenue lost to other cities. If elected, I will collaborate with the council and city staff to resolve these challenging issues and drive more tourism-related business to our city. 

I look forward to serving you on the Shasta Lake City Council.
